Performance Study of Monocrystalline Type Solar Panels for Street Lighting in Sibolga Area

In the Sibolga area, there is still a shortage of electricity supply, especially for street lighting, so accidents often occur, meanwhile has relatively large average solar radiation intensity 4,784 Wh/m2/day that potential PLTS installation. This research aims to determine performance monocrystalline panels with addition heatsink cooling fan in lighting. The method used an experimental. test begins survey, calculation, design, testing, data collection and analysis. panel 10 WP fan. parameters are temperature, voltage, current from panel. results obtained temperature on without reaches 56.10°C efficiency 11% only gets 45.50°C increases 13%. shows succeeded increasing level
